What is worse than having a problem is having a problem without any hope of solving it. Sadly, this is what we are currently grappling with. The reality is that no one has come forward with solid and pragmatic proposals to create jobs and wealth. The sad reality is that no one in charge has a clue on how this can be done. All over the world there is no shortage of people who complain, propose, criticize, attack, satirize, shift the blame and pass the buck. Basically, what goes on at the high levels of any bureaucracy or administration is no different from what one may encounter on daily basis anywhere in society. The prevailing attitude goes like this: didn’t do it, not my problem, his/her fault, let someone else deal with it, I don’t bother, I am not going to be around to worry about it, everyone is getting away with it. This is pathetic and remind us of little kids arguing in the playground. For the longest time, humanity was able to get away with this poor attitude. Ironically, it took a severe recession and the loss of close to ten million jobs in the U.S. alone for people to take notice of the precarious situation our economy is facing. For the first time, the crisis is not felt by the poor and the unemployed alone, but also people with high paying jobs are worried. It is a bleak situation, yet despite all of this, humanity should never give up and surrender. Indeed, an intelligent species should be able to lead a life with the least amount of pain and suffering. This goal cannot be achieved by simply identifying the problems. For instance, it is not good enough to solve the problem of pollution by killing jobs. Our mission in this movement is to find solutions for any pressing problems humanity may face now or in the future. This is not to discredit the work of any thinkers who are only willing to warn us about the dangers and the risks that emerge along our evolution as a species. We happen to think differently because we are in business and in business entrepreneurs must look at the whole picture in order to find solutions and make things work. Without this attitude most businesses will go under in no time. This can do approach is needed now more than ever to help us create more jobs, maintain our standard of living and restore our status as leaders in science and technology.
Though, we are confident of our proposed solutions, unlike any agencies or authorities who claim a monopoly on knowledge, we invite every person in the world to submit any proposal that might help create jobs or improve the human condition. Not only that, but we also offer the public a forum to support any of these solutions or proposals. We figured this can be done by asking the public to become more active in any process aimed at improving the human condition. In that the person to submit the proposal or solution would have the option to call for public support. The specific details for this sought after support would be left to the author of the proposal or solution. For instance he or she may be looking for something as simple as calling a local representative or something as huge as calling for a massive demonstration.
